India’s Hoteliers Offered a “Greater Chance to Differentiate”

Quadriga continues geographic expansion thanks to new exclusive distribution deal with MSR.  MSR Pvt Ltd (MSR) has signed an exclusive distributor contract with Quadriga, and has announced the successful deployment of India’s first Sensiq installation in a fabulous new luxury beach resort. 

It is predicted that India will receive 25 million tourists by 2015, potentially making the Indian hospitality market the number one tourist destination in the world with demand growing at 10.1 per cent per annum. With this growth comes competition, and Indian hotel operators are increasingly seeking ways to stand out from the crowd.

Creating a “Best in Class” Guest Experience
Overlooking the Bay of Bengal, The Park, Visakhapatnam, is a 5-star luxury hotel in Visakhapatnam, sprawling over 6 acres of a spectacular private beachfront. Described as “the ultimate environment that will satiate your inner sanctuary”, this boutique style hotel is a romantic haven of peace; an environment that encourages exploration and inner freedom and makes it one of the best leisure hotels in Vizag; part of The Park Hotels by Apeejay Surrendra Group. In order to complete the “total luxury offering”, MSR installed Sensiq in the hotel’s 66 luxury rooms, offering guests a breath-taking choice of entertainment and information content as well as both wired and wireless access to the Internet. Via Sensiq, the hotel is able to provide information about the resort and the local area, its loyalty scheme, ‘Preferred at the Park’ and the latest hotel promotions and incentives. These promotional capabilities enable the hotel to develop new revenue opportunities in line with its business objectives and the customised user interface ensures that the hotel can promote its exclusive brand directly to guests in their room via the TV.

MSR has already been working with Quadriga to develop its Genesis and Sensiq technology, however this more new distributor agreement will provide a solid platform for Quadriga to launch its flagship guest communications solution, Sensiq into the Indian market. This will be followed by additional products including its SmoovieTV platform and a range of new Internet services.
